AOG...they were frightened that nobody would believe them. When the attacks occurred, Bennell was a respected football coach.

Most of the kids were under the age of puberty, as Bennell is said to have lost interest in boys, once puberty started.

Some of them did complain, and the various football clubs covered up the allegations.

But lets not beat around the bush here....the fault of all these assaults rests squarely with Bennell and the football authorities....there no blame to be attached to the children involved at all....not even a little bit.

He is a monster, who destroyed lives...in the words of the Judge, he abused these kids on an industrial scale.

But now he has been convicted, we need to see all the other people involved in this sorry affair being brought to book....the football clubs and the FA, who knew something was wrong, but stood aside and did nothing.

Yes Naomi not denying that, but not very young children more youths.
I know that when I was at that age and some adult male asked me to share his bed with him, he wouldn't have had a chance to commit any filthy sex acts towards me, I would be off and reporting him to my parents straight away.

Put yourself in that position when you were that age mikey, if someone like that bit of pond life tried the same with you, you wouldn't have put up with it and not report it just in case they wouldn't believe you, and what about their parents, surely they at least would have believed their sons?
