First anti Semitism, now Islamophobia! You've got to hand it to Labour for their "diversity"!

if he said it, its not a nice thing to say to anyone.
Always a difficult one this as you can sort of see where Davie McLachlan is coming from, if he did say that.

I quite liked the comment from the Muslim fellow: "I'm not sure which pubs he occupies or who his circle of friends are, but I think he has to reflect on that going forward." I doubt Anas Sarwar has set foot in a pub at all and therefore has no clue what voters on teh ground really think. And that is the problem, you can howl racist all you like, create all the laws you like but peoples prejudices are not easily removed especially at a secrete ballot box.

I suspect Davie is closer to the truth than Anas would like to admit. So should labour put forward a candidate that may loose and keep face or put up a candidate that can win and potentially change attitudes going forward?
Learned everything he knows at daddy's knee. Colourful might cover it.

/// He added: "I stress that this is bigger than any one individual or one organisation. This is about challenging the institutional prejudices that impact on workplaces, campuses and classrooms across the county." ///

As you earlier said appertaining to pubs, Mr Sarwar.

/// "I'm not sure which pubs he occupies or who his circle of friends are." ///

I'm not sure which workplaces, campuses and classrooms across the county you occupy Mr Sarwar.
I suspect the comment made, however insulting or upsetting by the language used, is probably correct.
