I can't repeat his comments here on AB, but they are all there for people to read. Not made in private but in the Oval Office, in front of other people.

Is this really the kind of language that we would expect the POTUS to be using ?

It is quite possible to be a billionaire and a moron, DD. Especially when the core of one's wealth is inherited. As I've said before, Trump is a member of de facto nobility rather than a self-made entrepreneur. - No, this kind of uneducated language is not the kind we should expect from the President. But it is exactly the kind of language we can now expect from the...

Mikey, that doesn't answer v-e's question. Try again.
Question Author
It answers it perfectly Naomi, but no matter what point I successfully make, you will still support Trump !
// I absolutely detest spiteful witch hunts - and you're the leader of the AB coven.// someone

look boys and girls I think someone is leading a spiteful witch-hubt against dear dear Mikey ! - so cheeful - so boisterous - so .......
funny
No, Mikey, it doesn't answer it. The question was //What is "racist, misogynist, childish [and] moronic" about stating an obvious truth? //

Off to cook supper now.
To Mikey @ 17:21:

Although not a raving fan of Trump's persona he has my support inasmuch as he is trying to do for his country what I wish some of our politicians would do for ours. I have two degrees and two post-graduate diplomas but according to you I am unintelligent.
Was v_e's question this?

"Are Haiti, El Salvador and "some African" countries what Trump called them?
Yes?
What is "racist, misogynist, childish [and] moronic" about stating an obvious truth? "

If so I am not surprised no one wants to answer it. It's a rhetorical question based on an opinion. In other words "I think X. X is true. What is wrong with stating the truth?"
For one thing there now appears to be some doubt about words were used. But in any case ...
//It's a rhetorical question based on an opinion.//

Yes, it is my opinion that Haiti, El Salvador and some African countries (I'd say quite a lot, in fact) are dumps. Are you challenging that judgment, Ichkeria?
has she gone ?
blimey I hope she is braising something

George V was foul mouthed I think- midshipman in the Navy ( wasnt the eldest son etc )

and the Marquess of Wueensberry of Oscar wilde fame spoke of his eldest son being "perverted by posh queers like Fanny"
Fanny or Squiffy was Lord Rosebery, erm the Prime Minister at the time
And even if my opinion were wrong, it wouldn't of itself make me a racist for saying it, would it?
"Yes, it is my opinion that Haiti, El Salvador and some African countries (I'd say quite a lot, in fact) are dumps. Are you challenging that judgment, Ichkeria? "

You are entitled to your opinion. But that is what it is: an opinion.
You seemed to be stating that it was the truth. "Dump" is a subjective term.
//"Dump" is a subjective term.//

Yes, I get that. Now do get this: there are objective measures by which countries can be judged and compared with each other. For instance, wealth/poverty, stable government, property rights, crime rates, treatment of women, gays etc. You know, the kind of things you'd probably refer to as "human rights". Are all countries equal in all these respects?
Now do you...
If Donald Trump had said that in the first place this thread would never have started :-)
/If Donald Trump had said that in the first place this thread would never have started :-) \\

Donald Trump only has to let go a fart in the wrong place at the wrong time and Mikey will be straight on his case.
It is a point though: if Donald Trump actually behaved like some sort of rational being then the foul creatures that are mikey, myself and the rest of the civilised world would have no ammunition.
He grabs the rope and he hangs himself every time.
The DPRK News Service has tweeted the following:

"Donald Trump remarks on foreign nations as [unprintable] "holes" demonstrate feeble vocabulary and toilet mouth.

Marshal Kim Jong-Un refers to United States as "abhorrent cesspit of dung, sprayed from the diseased anus of a malodorous pervert."

I thought I would share that :-)
nothing objectionable about stating an obvious truth, even if it comes from a North Korean, ichkeria...
I just hope the strength of the potty mouthed retaliation does not reflect button size :-)
ichkeria. //if Donald Trump actually behaved like some sort of rational being...//

But in this instance what he’s said is rational.

PeterPedant, //blimey I hope she is braising something//

Roasting is more my style.
Fake news, mikey.
You must feel such a fool.
