This is diabolical, has the woman no courage or leadership. It is a real slap in the face for people who had to wait in the back of ambulances. But I shouldnt be surprised it comes from Theresa May who was a completely Hopeless Home Secretary and she gets the PM job, make a mess of a job and you get to keep it or get promoted. It is a joke and I am not laughing.

Boris. He'd call an election and walk it. Boris v Corbyn is a no-brainer in the charisma stakes.
Corbyn is not pm material. Boris is scary and power hungry with few ethics, IMO.
I agree with you on both counts, but if push came to shove I would have to go for Boris.
What a mess, when the only alternative for pm is Boris :-(
What about Andrea Leadsom? She came a poor second to May when Cameron quit but managed to get 20% of MPs behind her. The trouble is she has no public persona; I have never heard her speak nor know what her stance would be.
He has actually gained some responsibilities so if anything, it is a promotion.
Apparently she was going to move him, but he talked her out of it. So much for asserting her leadership.
I actually don't agree with any of that.
If they'd been going to get rid of May it would have happened by now.
No one else wants to be PM at this point. Who would?
They are stuck with her - for very different reasons than Labour is stuck with Corbyn.
The government is paralysed by Brexit. That would not change with a new leader.
The main requirement for leadership is toughness, always. Mrs May has demonstrated a lack of it, hence the state of the cabinet.
Boris could be ideal, not too much imagination and doesn't over think stuff, which is another essential - he would of course need to drop the smiley clowney stuff which he wouldn't need anymore.
AB is such a jumble now, that anything seems to go in any category......so I have copied and pasted my reply from Body and Soul.

Any Politician of either persuasion who holds the post of "Health "Secretary" or it's equivalent is by definition ....UNPOPULAR.
He is the longest serving Health Secretary and he saw off the BMA junior doctors strike....not a menial task.
I will go further and prophesy that should the present Prime Minister stutter (of which there are no signs at the moment) then Jeremy hunt may well lead the Conservative party."
Correct, Sqad. I remember when Barbara Castle was Health Secretary. The very first thing Callaghan did on becoming PM was to sack her.
Morning Sqad !....the very thought of Bambi in Number Ten makes me shudder.

But the discussion this morning is May's inability to be a strong, decisive Leader. She didn't want Hunt to continue as Health Secretary, and wanted him to move sideways.

Presumably, if she thought he was doing such a marvelous job at Health, she would have left him alone.

Instead, he persuaded her to give him even more opportunity to cock-up Social Care as well !
Jack...correct. I always called Barbara Castle the founder of Private Practice in the UK.

Up to that time Private Practice was almost entirely done in the NHS and with a guy called Neil Kinnock on the horizon as a possible Prime Minister and Barbara Castle threatening to kick all private practice from the NHS, us Consultants got together and by various means started the rebirth of private medicine as we now know it.

Health as always been the graveyard of aspiring Politicians.
Sqad (continued)...."no signs at the moment, of May stuttering"

Really ?

She called an entirely unnecessary Election last June, lost 13 MPs, and her working majority.

And that isn't stuttering ?
Morning mikey.
