I must admit that I signed up to Facebook nine years ago after hearing people sing its praises. However, as I found the site almost impossible to navigate I abandoned it within a fortnight. It has lain dormant ever since. I have not bothered to delete the account, even if I knew how to, but it doesn't bother me as I never access it. People can call me all the names under the sun and I will remain sublimely oblivious.
Momentum is the vile group who control the Labour Party so much they are forcing Moderate MPS to sign their Marxist agenda or be replaced by their people. It's frightening. Twitter is also their tool and should be policed. The Labour Party have also covered up things that needed investigating such as the sex scandals. Labour people on AB ignore certain issues, especially Mikey who disappeared after my recent post about the Welsh MP, even though he had posted 2 minutes before mine. By the way I see they have shelved the Clive Lewis investigation.

Momentum is Militant writ large. The latter never really died, they just crawled back into their rats' nests to await the resurrection. I am surprised that Livingstone and Hatton have remained strangely silent.
Corbyn's Brownshirts are out in full force now, bussed into every demo, flooding Twitter etc and purging the Party of any Moderates.

It is a real shame as at this moment in time we need a strong, viable and active opposition to hold Theresa the Appeaser to account. Unfortunately I really dont see this happening at all.
Mikey's gone again then!

He has a habit of disappearing if a post shows Labour in a bad light.
I doubt Mikey has gone but even if he has, I haven't, and I'm about as left wing as you're likely to get so you'll have to make do with me til his return.
You are all lamenting the demise of the Blairite Factions within Labour, but why? By your own admissions none of you are Labour voters, so why would it bother you that in their turn, just as they ousted Militant from their ranks all those years ago they too are now being ousted? Why do you want the Labour party, a traditionally Socialist party, to be some sort of quasi water down Tory Party? Labour's internal affairs are it's own business, and the business of party members like myself, I couldn't care less what the Tories get up, and let's face it there is plenty, and in terms of pogroms and back stabbings they could teach us a thing or two. Have at it folks, but it makes zero sense, but what actually does make sense to the electorate is to have two parties, one right of centre and one left of centre, not two milling about in the middle virtually indistinguishable from one another, but I suppose that's when all of our fears kick in, my fear that the increasingly right wing Tories might get in again and imho destroy my country and your fears that Labour might prevail and do the same thing in your opinion. It's all a personal choice but it's good for the electorate for the parties to be far more vastly different than they were. What we don't need is Social Media being policed, as freedom of speech is vital for us all, not just the left, however we need to ensure that trolls and abusers are dealt with ( across all parties) by the full force of the law, there is and should never be room for threats and abuse that go beyond free speech and stray into the arena of harrassment and bullying but left wing party vs right wing party that gives everyone a voice if we all keep our heads.
I look forward to the link between the hateful tweets and Momentum.

Read the thread properly.

You will understand why I posted what I did.
We don't want the Labour Party to be some kind of watered-down Tory Party, we don't want the Labour Party full stop.
Jackdaw33

We need an effective opposition to the Tory Party.

Without the Labour Party, we would effectively become a one-party state.
I've read the thread properly, sp.

If you were better at retaining information, you would understand why I posted what I did.

Or maybe you do understand but refuse to acknowledge it.
