No, not really.

I understand that tensions were running high but some of the behaviour shown towards this woman was completely unacceptable.
To be expected, given our current society yes.....to be excused or condoned no, of course not.
No.
In the sense that there will always be some, it would be naive not to expect it from the odd idiot.
I wonder if every other woman dressed in Muslim clothing receives similar treatment - or is it just her? Surely we'd have heard about it? Hmmm....

I hate to think what abuse a person wearing a Nazi uniform would get, so really what is the difference?
Well......that escalated quickly.....
Yes,,
but I was expecting this in the programme anyway, and it didn't really tell me much, that I knew already about the verbal abuse.

And dont forget, when she was getting the abuse, there was a tv crew following her filming, and probably a couple of minders, which some of the drunken public could see!

Perhaps Channel 4 will someday make a programme where they dress a young woman up in western style 'revealing' clothing and film her experiences walking in a predominate Muslim area?

Well if they must walk around in a 'uniform'.
I forgot to add:

I thought racial abuse was an offence, if correct, why didn't the film crew who had footage of the abuse, report the people shouting to her at the pub, to the police, they have them on film, or were they part of the tv programme too!!!!!

.
No
Maybe they have, trt.

AOG, it's not a uniform!!
It is a uniform, IMO.
But it's not. It's optional.
It's a uniform.
Still a uniform.
Thought we'd had a thread on this.
