Perhaps the next lot will be more discreet.
Do not spend another penny unless it is spent on more investigations of the Mccanns!!
No
according to an acquaintance of mine who is a friend of Gerry, they have been investigated inside out, upside down and back to front.
Please lets not get into another thread accusing them of killing her.
agreed ummm, that's been done too many times over the years.
If they have a new lead, I think the money should be spent to try to find out what happened to her. I can't bear to imagine what her parents are going through.
Yes. But I believe she's dead.

/// Either of you got any links to back up your claims? ///

I don't make false claims, any apology forthcoming?
errr, Finny made a comment about something they had read, which I did remember also reading about.
And I thanked them for jogging my memory about it.

You have yet to provide any evidence so, no, no apology yet
"according to an acquaintance of mine who is a friend of Gerry, they have been investigated inside out, upside down and back to front." Really?

no
Which chippy ??

I agree with Ratter and Baldric, it still seems a bit sus to me.
I am afraid I think that enough has been spent from the public purse on this case. I do doubt that she will be found now, certainly not alive, and I wonder if the same scenario happened to a family from a much poorer background if the parents would not have faced criminal charges of neglect which resulted in the disappearence and possible death of their child.
I'm awfully afraid that the child's death sentence was announced when that strange mark in her eye was publicised. The captors ( or whoever) must have realised the mark would never change, she would always be identifiable, and thus she became too much of a liability.
No one, and I mean no one, leaves a 6 year old without at least one adult present while they pop down the shops.
Never mind going out for a meal and drinking and especially in a foreign Country.
The McCanns are far too intelligent and clued up to do that.
My guess: M was accidently killed hours earlier. They panicked, hid her body and then kept a dinner date.
They get back, claim she's gone missing.
Their grief and panic is REAL but not for the reasons given.
So many Poirots, so little sense.
