Tuesday. Raining this morning. Snowflake was out in the garden, widdle, back in at the speed of light! A quick rub down with a towel and she's now fast asleep alongside me. Alright for some! Not much going to get done outside today. Tiggy is tucked up in Tiggy Towers.

I had a phone call out of the blue from a friend I hadn't heard from for a few years. Some catching up to do.

It's hard work doing nothing Boaty, the OH Is meeting her daughter for the weekly shop so I might Wet clean the up stair carpets after the Décor, carpet fitter came yesterday, he done a good job fitting a carpet in our room, soI just might complete the job by doing & completing the Spring clean.

The rain is getting heavier now. Wet weather gear when I go out then!

Just watching the UK Weather forecast, looks like rain all day, our heatwave has gone as usual.

'morning, cooler here this morning. only 24° when I wandered into K/diner about 0515.
We had all of 5 minutes rain yesterday, didn't make a lot of difference tbh. Bit grey out there atm but no wind which is nice.
Dogs are fed and watered, coffee is brewing and the Team are still Zzzzing.

Morning balders. It's stopped raining here, but it's just getting it's breath back. More to come.

I think the team have the right idea this morning. the snowflake is crashed out on my pillow feigning deafness. :o}

One of the Dogs, Bruno I think, was headbutting the B/room door about 0500, I've changed the handle to stop him opening it and coming in. I got up and put them out, then thought I might just as well stay up and drink coffee.

Can't argue with that. Dog's ain't as daft as some people would think. they can be sneaky too, if they think you're not looking!

We've had dogs for years, I think it's fair to say Bruno is probably the brightest we've had, he picks things up so quickly and knows the routine so well, after 6 months he very rarely needs to be told nowadays.

Daft they are, stupid they are not. We had many dogs over the years, Labs, retrievers, collies, the last one an old english sheepdog. The animated hearthrug. All different, all adorable and all daft. We lost the last one in 96, lifestyle change made us decide not to have any more.

Sounds like the Lodger is up and about, best sort another coffee by the look of it.

Morning, gents. Quite grey here, weather-wise. I don't mind that though. Still warm enough to wear a summer dress, but won't get baked by the sun.

Exciting to see Jo Konta into the quarter finals of Wimby. Shame I'll be at the dentist while she's on. :( come on, Jo. I'd love to see her into the semis.

I'm not to keen on the dentist's chair either, although my dentist is very good. He was Vera's dentist too, so I've known him for many years.
