Tut! You mean I have to PAY for something? Me? Personally? And there’s me thinking that if I vote Labour I will get everything for nothing at the expense of big business!!
And the rich Naomi, you know those that earn a little above an MP. So you must be the rich!!

Perhaps this is Labour realising the horrid truth that the super rich will leg it and businesses will locate abroad (like Google and Amazon) so they will get zilch for their dream world from them?
Latest news is that he is going to lower the threshold for paying inheritance tax.
Well to say there are 5 houses to the rear of us with Trees above 30ft in height, he could propose a tax on these, also whilst he's at it a tax on Weekend Barking dogs that disturb your peace.
Air is still free - at the moment. Soon to have meters attached to your hooter with payment directly from you r Bank account to HMRC.
I think it's fine as long as we have a functional NHS, good schools, roads you can actually drive along without disappearing down a hole, as long as we don't have soup kitchens and food banks, we don't have disabled people thrown into the wilderness because their benefits have been slashed or withdrawn and we don't have a society where people only consider themselves. If I pay more I don't care, I just want a decent society with decent values.
Utopia wont happen, and I'm sure you know that.

Show me any Marxist/Socialist country that has worked out like that?
What about a tax on the same answer posted time after time on Answerbank?

Or do you expect free speech for nothing? :P
complete fantasy of Labourithmetic as usual, the best system was the community charge, sadly the great unwashed had a fit over that.
Council tax should be based on the number of people living in the property. It is obviously the fairest way but of course those who pay nothing be jumping up and down in indignaton. I remember when that was tried and there was rioting in the streets by the great unwashed because heaven forbid they might have to contribute.
Perhaps we could Jezzalculus and abottometry to sort all the problems eh?
Yes and I'm glad they did dave50 because it was the beginning of the end for Thatcher ......
We are already at the top of the council tax band in our area we also have a large garden will this now be taxed as an extra?
We got our property through sheer hard graft and determination so under a Corbyn government are we to be penalised for that.
