There are women and minorities in the other teams, this was just how the draw worked.
I did notice they were all male. There actually were some foreigners on the teams. Notably an Australia, who, it turned out, knew zilch about Australian deserts :-)

How ridiculous. These teams put their names down on the SU noticeboard - they happen to be all male and white ethnic.

As Gromit says, the winning team on 'Only Connect' was all female!
What to do? I can scarcely believe that there is any question to answer. When my girls were at Uni., a notice went up on the board in the SU asking for volunteers for the team. Anyone, ANYONE, could apply. Total rubbish to complain about these teams.

The Evening Standard piece to wrong. There was diversity on the teams, in that there were some foreign contestants.
While they came from different countries, their skin tone was light not dark.

This accusation is baffling. I haven't missed an episode of UC for years, and there have been many women and foreigners on the Teams over that time.

Equality means just that all are equal. Sometimes you will get all male sometimes you will get all black or whatever so long as the best person for the job has been put forward then there is no problem?
