1/ Anyone who has poste here for any length of time would know that AH was being sarcastic and possibly ironic with posting this headline. 2/ TBH AOG it would not surprise me at all if you asked for those types of pictures!

Talbot, who knows? Your guess is as good as mine.
The Daily Mail web page has various headings to cater for all interests, these being:
Home
News
U.S.
Sport

TV&Showbiz
Australia
Femail
Health
Science
Money
Video
Travel
Fashion Finder

So why is this thread in 'News'?

What does prurient mean? Can't be bothered to Google it?
She has fat legs and a prominent laparoscopy scar...Mrs Sqad has a better body than that.
//but the Mail does sell itself as a 'news' paper. //

"News is something which somebody doesn't want you to print, all the rest is just advertising"

Talbot - //What exactly is the point of this thread? //

A little light humour on the first day back at work - which has missed its mark with the usual suspects, as I knew in advance that it would.
The point of this thread is the promulgation of verbosity and the quest for self-aggrandisement.
I suspect an innocent post has been hijacked for a little fun at Andy-hughes expense.

With Sqad, my wife looks better too but i'm not posting pictures of her; you might want more ;)

/// Fore the record, I was not 'actively trawling' as offered, I simply noticed the pic of Ms. Lowe because the Mail's competitor used a rather less flattering shot of her to compare her with a somewhat more demure shot of another 'celebrity' - it was nothing more than that. ///

One has to ask, why after looking at a pic of Ms Lowe did you then go to the trouble of seeking out further pics of her in a separate newspaper, so as to carry out a comparing exercise?

shoota - as a respected and seriously valued and important - if not the most important member of the AB community, I would have to point out that your view is pusillanimous in the extreme, and I would go further and suggest that it is craven, dastardly, recreant, lily-livered and utterly without foundation, basis, or a hope of being taken at all seriously by anyone on this site past, present or future!!

So when you talk about my thread being the promulgation of verbosity and the quest for self-aggrandisement, I have to say that I have absolutely no idea what on earth you are talking about!!!!

Thank you for your perceptive observation.

///shoota - as a respected and seriously valued and important - if not the most important member of the AB community, I would have to point out...///

Wow, that is some Ego you have there Andy.

AOG - //One has to ask, why after looking at a pic of Ms Lowe did you then go to the trouble of seeking out further pics of her in a separate newspaper, so as to carry out a comparing exercise? //

Simple - I didn't.

I was queuing in the sandwich shop at lunch time, and there was a copy of The Sun on the counter, open at a page showing comparison photos of Ms Lowe and Emma Forbes, for the purposes of linking with similarity (famous dads) and perceived disparity of appeal - Ms. Lowe coming off somewhat worse in the Sun's view.

Back at my desk, and looking at a Mail link, I spotted a link about Ms. Lowe and opened it, briefly curious, and was amused at the sheer volume of shots they had printed, hence my ironic OP, and the po-faced misunderstanding it has attracted.

Hope this clears up any misunderstanding - but I'm not holding my breath!

baldric -

'Irony - noun - the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.'
Which sandwich did you have?
Let's all give AH a good kicking :-)
Question Author
Mamya - I actually had some buttered toast, and some Battenberg to follow - sustaining, which is just as well given the battering I am getting on here today!!!! (LOL!)
Question Author
melv16 - //Let's all give AH a good kicking :-) //

To be fair, they save that for the days of the week with a 'y' in them!!!

///Irony,etc///
Thank you for that Andy, I am aware of the meaning of irony without a definition from yourself.
I and I'm sure others just don't see any in your post.
Question Author
Baldric - anyone who knows me at all will see the irony.

If you prefer not to - in keeping with your long and acrimonious responses to just about anything I post on here on any subject on any day - then you go right ahead.
I had Paté on brown toast may have a banana soon.
