I think the answer is blowing in the wind.
Cows can't help being vegetarian , they're made that way.

quite right mamy but if we eat them then they won't be jam tarting will they!
More we eat the more we'll need to breed.
............and jam tart.
I shall do my bit by not eating any sprouts this Xmas !
But do eat half a cow.
The back half preferably.

the new Lady godiva is helping, apparently it used a whole cow's worth of tallow for all of them!
We should all boycott our takeaways this Christmas.

Beef madras and pilau would presumably be methane neutral tho.
Wrong end the vast majority of methane is released orally
