You've answered your own question.The exclamation mark in my heading was added as you would not expect to see AC in McDonalds for the reason given in the link.

Maybe I'm being a little unkind to help expose this preacher of hate a little more..

Maybe.The least of a long list of sins.
McDonalds site is a bit slow loading the full page. However, when it does, it states...."None of our food is certified as Halal".
At least if he was eating? Or drinking he wasn't giving a " sermon" :-)

He's done enough of that for which he will be duly removed from our streets for a while.

Trouble is,what influence will he have behind bars?
Never mind ag, some of us certainly deemed it newsworthy and as already pointed out, vermin as extreme as he look all the more ridiculous when caught out in hypocrisy.
I know Muslims are supposed to eat halal food. But are they forbidden to eat at restaurants that serve non-halal food?

I'm beginning to wonder what qualifies as 'News'.The amoubt of times I see the phrase 'non-news story' is increasing usually where criticism of left wing politicians are concerned.

half the maximum sentence for a first offender? I would have thought that was fairly normal, the more so becasue the offence itself is a new one.

And he will probably do a maximum of 3 years..
that's also normal, though. People seem to want him to be hit harder because they don't like him, but the law doesn't really work that way. The Daily Mail shouldn't get to set the tariff.
I think for my own part having seen pictures of him with his hands round a beer bottle reading a girlie mag in his younger days - a picture of him carrying a tray in a fast food restaurant is a bit 'So what'.

The man is a wrong 'un to put it mildly.
