I worked with a JW a while ago and we were talking about Prince. The JW (French and living in France so I don`t know if they go around knocking at doors - I don`t think he does) said that they are against surgery due to the possibility of needing a transfusion

Just to clarify, blood is forbidden, but it has been known for some Jehovah's Witnesses to refuse all medication and medical treatment. It's a personal choice.

yes he took painkillers for constant hip pain NOT drugs for recreational use leave the guy alone he was one of the best artist in the US and world wide bringing pleasure to millions ,
