And it is my belief that you are betraying your Country.
hw I am with you 100% but you must know on this site we'll be vilified for our views.
You know what they say , three topics of conversation never to be brought up the round the pub bar (or on AB)...football...politics ...religion. None of them have any room for disccusion. They are more vocal and vehement than us on this subject, therefore we will lose, but not the referendum vote....
Jazzy...I am not entirely convinced that the majority on here want to leave the EU, despite the Straw Poll that Ed gave us recently.

I am unsure how many Members AB has, but only a small proportion are actively debating this issue, and other political issues.

I hate to use the phrase, "The Silent Minority" but its my best guess that the vote will be close, but it will be slightly in favour of staying.

I may be wrong of course.
By the way Helly and Jazzy....I am certainly not vilifying your views and welcome a informed debate on this issue. There are some on here that continue to make incendiary posts, but they are not you two.
You may well be wrong. It is my belief that with the vote being so tight the turnout of LEAVE v the turnout of REMAIN will be crucial.

No, working I'm afraid, but I have been promised a birthday tea at one of my brothers on Sunday.

Enjoy yourself then, mikey. hope there's room on the cake for all those candles
Same as Tilly - and yes, we are deadly serious about leaving, not shooting our mouths off. What happened to the concept that older people had more experience of life, could therefore make judgements more clearly and that their ideas should, therefore, be respected and weighted more than the callow youth?
PS Shame you're working mikey, but I hope the weather's fine and that you have a lovely birthday. :) x

Mikey has always been young at heart. He played with JPS toy cars. They came out in 1973.

I thought this dreadful old harridan was suspended from her party recently. Or was that some other dreadful old Labour harridan?
glad to be a problem if it saves our nation from the EUSSR and our ABC chamberlainistas.
It's annoying isn't it, the elderly have as much right to a vote as anyone, it's their world too !
