Yep...I think the tipping point was your thread from last week. Everything made sense, but that was coupled with the arguments proffered by the 'leavers' on AB over the past six months.

I suspect that it's 'head' rather than 'heart' which has influenced me. It's the reason why I voted for the Conservativesat the last General Election.
^More fibs?
What thread was this then ?
Svejk

Why do you say that?
This was the thread and the link Baz:

sp, please stop expecting a rational answer or comment from Sweaty.
thanks - i'll have a read later
so what has convinced you then sp?
there has not been a leave argument at all beyond, we must stay or we'll miss out on some sort of non descript reason for staying usually based on fear rather than logic. I have been waiting for weeks for someone to tell me a benefit of staying that is not available if we leave but no dice so far.
As I've already mentioned - the tipping point was Zac-Master's post from last week, coupled with the information put forward by many of the 'remainers'.

Over the past six months, they've convinced me that remain makes sense.

Not just one post, or one thread - but the cumulative effect of a lot of opinions...that, together with discussions with friends and Zac-Master's thread has convinced me that remain is right.

However, I suspect that I'm in the minority here - those who have been pushed to the remain camp by the arguments put forward by the leave campaign.

In your first sentence, I think you meant 'remain', rather than 'leave'.
so it's a na na nana na. Then SP. You have no substance to your remain reasons beyond the fact that some have dared to not worship at the altar of the EU. If you have an ounce of honour, tell me one specific reason to stay. No one has yet to be fair so I don't expect much.
TTT

Are you high?
no but you are, please give me one, just one reason to stay? no one has yet.
TTT

Why?

Why is my reason for voting to remain so important to you?

I couldn't give give a tinker's cuss about your reason for voting to remain or leave, so I find it curious that my reasons are of any interest to you?

If you really need me to tell you, I will, but first, I need to know why you need to know.
I definitely won't be changing my mind to vote OUT !
My number one reason is economics.

I believe that it is in the best interests of medium and large businesses to have the clout of being in the largest trading bloc in the world to remain in the EU.

I believe that there will be serious consequences to leaving, primarily - our unencumbered access to EU markets where we do not have to renegotiate tariffs with twenty seven different countries to determine how we trade with them.

But more than that - over the past several months, the people on AB who support the 'leave' campaign have not put forward arguments that have convinced me that they have thought things through.

Don't just blame the BBC, ITV are so very pro-in, that it is embarrassing.

message? ///

Of cause you have and well you know it, you are not the type of person to agree with a fellow ABer who hasn't agreed with you in the past, and it generally those persons who are voting 'OUT'.
