I have not read the link.
Corbyn got a massive mandate from Labour Party members during his election. It was a far more convincing win than Cameron, or Farron got for their leadership election.
If the Corbyn camp detect that certain elected members no longer adhere to Labour Party policy, and instead, vote against it, campaign against it or undermine the party policy, then it is legitimate to put another candidate in that members constituency, for the local Labour members to consider instead for their MP.
If the local members are happy for their MP to be 'off message' then they will be retained as the local prospective candidate.
Why do people object to that? It seems fine and sensible to me.

Come on Gromit, he's been in free fall ever since his disastrous stance of the Syrian bombing vote, which saw even his closest allies and Shadow Cabinet members lambast him indirectly with their impassioned addresses.
He has hit rock bottom and has started to dig, nothing less. Even the staunchest Labour supporter must in recent months have looked at him, his choices, stance and demeanour and thought: dafuq, how did this happen? He lurches from one faux pas to PR disaster with a propensity that is shocking and the divisions within the rank and file resemble chasms.

Corbyn has not been tested at the polls, but that will change in a few months.
Not that I give any credence to opinion polls after the debacle of the general election, but they are all we have, and the latest YouGov poll puts Labour ahead of the Conservatives.

Of course, opinion polls can and are be wrong. But it goes against your opionion (with no evidence) that Corbyn is in freefall. The Conservative should be in an honeymoon period just a few months after getting a majority in the General Election, but instead they are behind in the polls already.
That does not prove that Labour will win the next election in 2020, but it does disprove your silly assertion that Labour under Corbyn are in 'freefall'.

Unless you hadn't noticed, there is a civil war in the Labour Party between the members, the majority of whom support Corbyn, and the Parliamentary MPs, many of who don't.
The MPs are relics of the Blair era, and were often parachuted into an area and foisted on a constituency because they had toadied to his Tonyness.
It is those people driving the anti-Corbyn rhetoric.
As I have been saying, Corbyn has not yet failed, he may do. We will have to wait for a few by-elections, local elections, mayoral election to know if Cobyn is a disaster. But some disgruntled Blairite (they lost the Labour Party the last two general elections) whinging to the Mail and Express is not proof of Corbyn failing.

As for the lack of popularity of the Tories, look no further than Cameron and Osborne. Thiose two have seen off many Tory voters. When they both have gone, hopefully shortly, then the Tory fortunes will change.

And the Syrian bombing has achieved what precisely? A regugee crisis, A million people displace and headed our way. A terrorists training camp.
The bombing of Syria was suppose to defeat ISIS and remove Assad from power and has failed miserably on both counts.

Let's not forget that the Syrian bombing idea was Cameron's second air-warfare campaign. The first was in Libya a few years earlier and just look at what has happened to that wretched country...it's in chaos and home to an ever-burgeoning Daesh community of jihadis, even closer to home shores. The man is a brilliant military strategist!
