Prostitution is not illegal. Touting for business is.
I agree with very little he says to be honest !

Does anyone agree with Jeremy Corbyn . . . . . . . . on anything?
I agree with him - legal brothels with dedicated medical care for the workers would solve a multitude of social problems linked to prostitution.
Yes, I agree with him.
Instead of the sordid dark shadows of sexually degraded women and their pimps, one would hope that Jeremy is suggesting well maintained brothels, with medical care to control STD's.
Other countries can do it.........why not the UK?
He gets my vote..
Yes I agree, with proper regulation women will be better safeguarded too.

Keep practising db.
well it would prevent you posting 'how do I erase my browing history?' in a panic as you did a few days ago .... did you manage to get it all off ? I mean did you manage to completely erase the browsing data ?

selling sex for money as Jackdaw has pointed out is not unlawful but just about everything else is....

and so for example AOG if you pay for sex in a house where there is a child then the offence of 'keeping a disorderly house' has been committed. The world is a dangerous place out there

all this probably makes you want to mince down the road with buttocks clenched like Marilyn Monroe....

[ wow-ow-ow ! That aint jello coz jam dont bounce like that !
that scene from Some Like it Hot ]

Oh ! do I agree with Corbo ? Legalising prostitution is lowish on my list of priorities - way below - world peace and rain forests in Brazil, single sex marriage .....
I agree with him as well, it seems a sensible view
I think before i comment I would like to know what the actual sex workers want...not their pimps and not the users.

because it doesnt work as you were told in your clap clinic lectures at med school in the sixties Sqad.

Brothels were licensed in the 1860s in garrison towns and there were various scandals where young lay-deeze were mistaken for ladies of the night and were subjected to forced exxam and public humiliation ....

but more importantly they noticed that if a lady lost her licence thro disease
then she hopped it out of the bordello and down the arches where she could ply her trade but at reduced fees .....

and so you could forward the argument that regulation could split and control the market and prices but you could NOT support any conclusion that it led to better conditions

[ regulation as an economic activity and not as a public health activity ]
I saw a TV programme about a legal brothel in either Australia or the US a few years back. It was run as a business and the girls/ladies came from all types of backgrounds.

I can't see a reason why it should not be legalised. It can't be any worse than the ladies standing around in the dark and the cold waiting for custom.

He said that new labour wrecked the NHS and the economy, in the papers today. I agree with that.
Amid calls for the law to be updated, the House of Commons home affairs committee is examining sex work legislation, including the idea of the Nordic model.

Hey! Why bring me into the discussion?
Believed that to be a good policy for a long time.
About time they paid tax on earnings.
In my opinion, every time he opens his mouth he makes himself and Labour even more unelectable.
Would those of you that agree with him be happy with a brothel next door to you?
Would those of you that agree with him be happy with a brothel next door to you?

I'm sure any plans would be given the red light :o
If they'll mend my side gate I'd be fine with that.
