I'd never heard of this guy until he started popping up on AB now and then. I heard him speak on the R4 one evening this week and taken at face value everything he said made absolute sense. To add a large number of people did bad stuff when they were young or held extreme views, people can mellow. I mean, I used to vote Labour.

You’d be wrong. Migrants have been coming to Europe for years and integrating perfectly well. Only the enormous influx of Muslims in recent times has created the problems we are now experiencing. Hence, in my opinion Pegida is absolutely right. It’s common sense to be concerned about the creeping Islamification of Europe and it’s certainly potentially self-destructive to ignore it. I see no reason to fantasize beyond that as you appear to be doing.

The subjugation of women, marriage of little girls to old men, female genital mutilation, death to gays, grooming of non-Muslim girls by gangs of sexual perverts, mass sexual attacks on women in cities across Europe, the burning of poppies, the call for democracy to be overthrown, the call for our soldiers to burn in hell, the condemnation of freedom of speech, the imposition of Sharia law, the ambition for Islam to rule the world? Which bits of that do you like? Tell me. The people you condemn are defending the hard won freedoms that you and every other westerner is fortunate enough to enjoy but in your case it's a thankless task.
