recently..yes...
Oh yes. You have to concentrate when overtaking.
Occasionally, it doesn't bother me to Amy degree, I just hope that when it happens, its quick and painless. Mark Twain said "before I was born. I was dead for millions of years and suffered no I'll consequence " or similar. I tend to look on death the same way. I won't know anything about it, I'll be dead. Good nigh Vienna!
painless and quick please just like my driving.

No, it's going to happen anyway whatever I do, think or say,
no point in giving it more airtime than it deserves.
Me too I'm afraid !

Now that my parents are gone, I am now the oldest in the next generation down, so I can't help thinking about it. I don't think about it every day, but quite often.

Probably not very healthy I suppose but I can't really help it.
Yes. Due to my age I consider I am on borrowed time. I am not to worried about my passing but the effect on those left behind. I want to live a little bit longer to see my grandsons grow up a bit more.
All the time.

It does. Particularly when I'm depressed.
I do now I am in my sixties.

I am not so worried for myself - it's inevitable, so there's nothing I can do, but I worry for my children, especially my youngest because we are very close, and she will be devastated, so I do think about it for her.

But ideally I can clock up another twenty-plus years, so my grandchildren will be of an age where they understand what death is.

I just don't want anyone to be unhappy.
if I played football it probably would. Do you mean "dying"? Why not say it?
No, I haven't sat any exams recently.
Nope
Andy - I think that's why I think about it. My dad died aged 59 and it absolutely devastated me. I really think I would have cracked up if it wasn't for my OH.

Being from such a large family death has become part of life. We buried my uncle in August and we're burying my Nan on Thursday :-(

It's all just too sad...

I still have 4 uncles and 5 aunties....so I'm also lucky.
I agree with Woody Allen, "I'm not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens".

You Nit Picking Jno? If I wanted to use the Word I would have used it, you had no need to answer, it was your choice.
Yes.
At the weekend my daughter told me she had managed to mend a few items of clothing herself, so I said (as I usually do her sewing) That's good. I can die now. She quickly added, No, you are good at babysitting as well.
I think about it more as I get older. I want to be around while my grandchildren are small and I'm a big part of their lives, then when they're all grown up I won't be worried as long as it's quick and painless please.
That's excellent Grasscarp, ha!

I think about it all the time.
