Saturday. All is calm and peaceful out and about, not as cool as I was expecting, just some wildlife going about their business. I hope the rest of the day is as pleasent. I'm in the Visitor Centre on the canal today, good weather is always a benefit.

Morning David. No, I don't life on a narrowboat, but I do spend a lot of time on the canal. I'm a member of Cotswold Canals Trust. We are restoring the inland waterways link between the rivers Severn and Thames.
www.cotswoldcanals.com will show you what we are doing. I do skipper two of the three trip boats we have. Perseverance[i at Saul Junction on the Gloucester ans Sharpness Canal, and [i] Endeavour] on the Stroudwater Navigation, part of the canal system we are restoring.

What happened yesterday?

My sister had an emotional breakdown, thought life not worth living. Flowers, chocolates, hugs,support. She's a lot better now. I made her laugh and cry, and laugh again, all well now.
