Is he just being scaremongering or racist, when he predict that Islamic extremists could cross the Mediterranean and gain access to the UK?

What better way could they 'invade' Europe, and if they did wouldl we see the return of another 'Battle of Britain'?

Wow - just caught up with this thread after a beer-soaked evening.

DTCwordfan - I have two requests..

1. Please make yourself available to all threads where the word 'Muslim' is in the title or question, because genuinely, you're the first person on AB for years who seems to know what they're talking about when it comes to Islam (and I include myself in that).

2. Please make yourself available for Daily Telegraph crossword help on Mondays, as they always seem to be harder on that day.

Ta.
Sp... try reading the thread again now you're sober.
-Talbot-

Why do you assume I've sobered up?

Also, 100 plus posts?

Guh!
I wouldn't suggest DTC is a bit of a fraud, but all this copying and pasting of other people's words...makes him look a little bit like a fraud.
DTC, you make it sound like early Christianity before anyone thought of appointing a Pope, or maybe when you had several Anti-Popes.

The latter was a bad time for Christianity and in a way the Muslims are still suffering because of it.
SP, //genuinely, you're [DTC] the first person on AB for years who seems to know what they're talking about when it comes to Islam (and I include myself in that).

If you know little about Islam how do you know that DTC knows what he’s talking about?

Ludwig, Sudan is a hell hole.
I try to assemble some definitions of the various sects of Islam and responses to the questions posed by vestute - forgetting the pathetic slur about N.Ireland and get this crap from svejk and talbo - both of you would be better off doing some research rather than your cheap, snide comments.

Sudan is indeed a hell hole - I was last there as to possible oil devs for the Southern Sudanese and what is going on is appalling, in terms of oppression, religious bigotry, women's rights and, not least, famine...
What cheap snide comments?

Quite a few posters appeared to think the post you submitted on the previous page was the musings of you, not those of Mr Khan.

DTCwordfan /// I try to dissemble some definitions of the various sects of Islam ///

Fixed it for you.
tallbo? Who is Khan - there are millions of them, try Mohammed.
One of my main sources is the writings of Ray Harris, an American specialist in Islam...
Americans don't have a good record of understanding ....non-americans.
naomi24

How do I know what he's talking about.

Same way that when I hear anyone making a reasoned argument, backed up with a little bit of research leads me to believe they know what they're talking about.

I feel the same about New Judge's posts.

Both NJ and DTC display levels of insight that is sometimes missing from News threads (often characterised as playground sniping).

/// And to answer AOG's question, no, Farage is a bigoted nationalist who even wouldn't want to see a Spaniard, Latvian, or German on Blighty's fair shores. ///

Funny that, since he is married to a German.

/// somebody has just joined my club of prats, but then he was there already. ///

Surely as head of your club of prats you should have known he was there already, when he tried to join.

Some have compared the IRA terrorist campaign with Muslim terrorism.

Yes the IRA terrorist campaign was both frightening and devastating, but it can not possibly be compared to the worldwide atrocities that are taking place in the name of Islam.

And yes how many times as this been said? "ALL MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS" that is perfectly true, but one could say the same about some banned dog breeds, but would you like to choose which ones are likely to savage you and which ones wouldn't?
I'm back in the playground. When DTC returns it will be safe for mickey mouth and his little friend to return to see me get a bloody nose.
