Sort of. June Ritchie who was in the film ' A Kind Of Loving' With Alan Bates, used to go to the same school as me but I knew her younger sister Janet better (she was nearer my age) who as far as I know didn't become famous like her sister.

Zac...i cheated a bit........we weren't at the same school, but we were House Surgeons and House Physicians together in our first jobs after qualifying.

One of my good mates from school I didn't hold too much hope for him. He had a horrible upbringing. He has done remarkably well.

Ian McKellen was in the class above me. He did Hamlet, I think it was, in the school play, and I thought he really hammed it up.

I had a big crush on a young lady in the Girls' school, who is now conducting a high profile public inquiry. I never spoke to her...

Christine Hamilton went to my school but was a few years above me, I didn't know her. I taught someone who went on to play cricket for England.Other than that I have no idea what my classmates ended up doing.

Many people who start in 'umble circumstances do well and do indeed "mix" with those from Eton, Harrow and other public schools...........if you listen, watch and learn.

Oh....I was at the same school as Brendan Coyle and in the same class as his cousin who was just as mouth watering gorgeous......x

Have to agree with zacs, I dont know of many (or indeed any) pupils from public schools that went on to become surgeons or majors in the army.
