What strikes me as sad is that this may even be desirable to some. A return to a single, straight choice between two parties. But then what about all the other possible policy positions? Some are eccentric, others are not, but if the public are never allowed or presented such a choice then frankly that's a failure of democracy.
Jim...I agree....I was just pointing out the difficulties presented by such a large choice.

But in the end, it will be either dave or Ed measuring up for new curtains in Number Ten, albeit with someone else holding the stepladder, (in coalition !)
