I am constantly accused of regular posting on certain subjects, Immigration, Muslims, Homosexuality, and black issues.

If these subject upset some ABers, then how is it that these four subject matters attract the most responses, or should I only post on certain subjects that attract just a minority response?

Or perhaps some of you would rather me not post at all?

So come on all you complainers stand up and be counted.

AOG, I do not always agree with your posts but I welcome reading them. I hope you will remain the A/B rep for the Daily Mail for many years to come. Long live AOG.
A lot of the time?
I couldn't care less what people start threads on but I do take notice of what posters start threads on, it tells me a lot about them. I also tend to notice what threads they try to steer clear of.
This strikes me as an example of confusing criticism with censorship. Post whatever you like -- but if it's controversial, then expect people to say as much.
I thought it was just me that had a wee problem deciphering some of PP's posts .

I don't have to sit up at night anymore , thinking there is something wrong with me :-)
It's like he's in his own world waffling to himself. He can start off on topic and be completely off topic by the end of the post :-)
You should have jumped on the Last Train to
Clarksville

A sure fire winning thread.
Do not even think of changing AOG, love your posts, love the fact that you are not a hand wringing liberal luvvie.
No one's really complaining about you posting on a limited range of subjects, they just remark on it now and then.

Thank you all for your kind responses, some more kinder than others, but eh that's life.

It has reassured me intensely that I can carry on as normal, and perhaps the occasional accusations of Xenophobia, Islamic-mania, Homophobia, and racism will be more acceptable seeing that they are only issued by a small minority of ABers when they would prefer that these issues are not debated.

You can post on whatever subject you like AOG ! We all have our favourite topics, so its no mystery why we concentrate on them. As long as you have something new and fresh to say....carry on !
Shall I decipher PP's post then? hi is referring to the incident where a couple of days ago a policeman stopped a 4 year old girl who was riding her bike with stabilizers down the path and told her if she did'nt get off the path he was going to confiscate her bike.

Just try to make your headlines less controversial and only ask one question. A lot of your debates go on for so long, and become confused, because you tend to ask more than one question at once.

So what is (1) that got to do with me and (2) to do with aog's post?
His comment has no place on this post and was irrelevant.
no idea retrocop except perhaps your user name (cop?) I glazed over about half way down page one. I'm suprised at AOG for posting such a self-indulgent Question.
I'm not too sure who should have jumped onto the Last train to Clarkesville or why, Talbot.

In that song, made famous by the Monkees, the singer is urging his girlfriend to travel to Clarkesville (the nearest railway station to his army base) so that they can spend one more night together before he is deployed to Vietnam. I'm not too sure how that fits into this question or any of the answers, but I'm probably missing something.

If I do then surely it is better that way than clutter up the news section with numerous questions all on the same subject?

/// A lot of your debates go on for so long, ///

Then surely judging by the response, that goes to show that the subject has attracted debate, and isn't that what we are all here for?

But everyone has the right to discontinue their involvement if they so wish, but judging by your criticism obviously they don't.
NJ - Clarkson / Clarksville.....I think.
AOG, Put your head above the parapet with such a post and you'll get an few arrows in the eye. I was only giving some advice dear boy. Another piece of advice would....'Stop thinking everyone is having a go'.

Sorry you think that it is being self indulgent, to try and get others to voice their opinions, on what subjects I should post on, after all some do criticise the subjects that I decide on.

Rather than being self-indulgent I consider that as giving the other guy the freedom to voice their opinions, just as long as they are not rude you understand, and judging by the answers so far that has not been the case.
