After DaisyNonna mentioned this a few weeks ago I investigated it. Found there was one here in the Forest. I logged on to it but found all the people had not posted for a long time. But I posted on it anyway. Eventually 5 people have joined and we are meeting for a coffee on Wednesday evening. So a whole new thing may be at my fingertips. So thanks to DN.

It took a lot of thought from me to do it. I asked OH if he wants to come on Wednesday as there are a couple going in their 60's, but he is not interested in meeting new people. He is so deaf it is an embarrassment for him so he keeps out of situations like this.

I was a bit worried at first it would be all youngsters like as Facebook but relieved to see at least one couple my age.

My mother had some weird beliefs. Drop a knife on the floor, touch it with your left foot before picking it up, likewise a comb. I must admit I do do this in fear of mothers wrath. Spill salt throw it over your shoulder.
