He'd be regarded as a right Charlie.
Is that what is regarded as 'making a stand'?

If only it was all that easy and, yes, substitute the venue for Paris and see if the clip reaches three minutes!!
The general opinion is surely that one should go nowhere near the "nutter" on the street.

Interesting to see he didn't say whether he personally had been identified as a terrorist or whether he was implying all Muslims are.
He's actually saying "It's not me, it's the others". His time would be better spent appealing to other Muslims to unite against terrorism.
I think it's a great idea, and I admire him for doing it.
It wouldn't prick my conscience by not hugging him and so what if I walked past, doesn't mean a thing.

'UNITE AGAINST TERRORISM' I like that Naomi, we hear much about Unite Against Fascism, and they are very active, pity the peace loving Muslims in this country do not form their own U. A. T.

After all terrorism at the moment seems a much greater threat.
AOG, exactly.

andy-hughes, //I think it's a great idea, and I admire him for doing it.//

So all those passers-by now believe that this one Muslim isn’t a terrorist. What about the rest?
Naomi - "So all those passers-by now believe that this one Muslim isn’t a terrorist."

I wouldn't presume to speak for them, but as I said, it's a nice way of making a point.

"What about the rest?"

The rest of the passers-by or the rest of the Muslims?
As I said all this man is saying is "It's not me, it's the others" - so what about the rest?
I am one of the first to say what I think regards the Muslims that try to harm us, but I would also be one of a few that would hug this bloke, we all stigmatize through the evil of others within the Muslim Religion, with total respect to the person that needs the Hugs, it would be far better to try & get the Muslim Religion together to sort this out once & for all & let us all try to live in piece.
TWR, //it would be far better to try & get the Muslim Religion together to sort this out once & for all & let us all try to live in piece. //

The only people who can even attempt to do that are the Muslims themselves. As for us all living in peace, I hate to say it but dream on.
We can dream Naomi, I hate the evil caused by MEN in this world.
Can't argue with that.
"Don't hug me too hard or you will set my vest off prematurely"
I've just watched that and its brought tears to my eyes - that's a bit of an over reaction from me I think
"The only people who can even attempt to do that are the Muslims themselves"

there is one doing it in this clip.
Yes but imagine you are that one and its day in day out muslim bashing!
I have a tiny sense of what that is like here in my office as a catholic
No Over Reaction Ric Ror, I do not like the world the way it is,
Violence & who by? Fecking men,
RandyMarsh , "//The only people who can even attempt to do that are the Muslims themselves" //

////there is one doing it in this clip.////

No, that one isn’t attempting to “get the Muslim Religion together to sort this out once & for all” as TWR suggested, which is what I responded to. That one is attempting to exonerate himself.
