sp, I guess this answers the question you posed some weeks ago about which newspaper (if any) would support UKIP.
That's another newspaper boss that the loon Russell Brand will be removing from his SWP Christmas card list.
that sounds plausible; the Express has always been the paper likeliest to support Ukip. The Mail and Telegraph have been tied to the Tories for generations, and Murdoch's papers only back the party they think will win.
Only £300,000 that's peanuts compared to the £1.65m that John Mills gave the Labour party, but only in shares it seems so as to avoid tax.

That would be Richard Desmond.

Owner of pornographiv TV Channels and publisher of top shelf magazine.

A very appropriate pairing.

If the Express and Star support UKIP at the election that will be a big disappointment for the Tories.
£300,000 is peanuts

compared to the millions of pounds of free promotion the Daily Express will be likely to give UKIP between now and March

Blimey Gromit some on here accuse UKIP of many things but being associated with Porn isn't one surely.
Rather self righteous and pious post there Gromit.

Are you honestly, hand on heart, saying you have never ever in your life partaken of the joys of an adult art pamphlet or two or the odd skin flick?
Zeuhl: Which will probably pale into insignificance compared to the free coverage for labour from The Guardian, the Independent, The Mirror, The Star to name a few. Oh and the BBC of course.
youngmafbog, is that the Guardian that backed the LibDems last time? or a different Guardian in your dreams?
aog, that's the question, isn't it? Do Ukip want to take money from porn?
What has the Guardian supporting the limp-dums last time got to do with the 2015 election. They certainly dont seem to be pointing that way at present.

Get with the times, no use living in the past.
/Oh and the BBC of course./

that'll be the same BBC who regularly invite UKIP (the party with 2 MPs) onto Question Time to have an equal say with representatives from the three parties who hold most of the other 650 seats.

ymb, I think you'll find if the Express backs Ukip, so will the Star; Desmond owns that too. (I'm assuming you're talking about the Daily Star not the Mornign Star)

I was always careful to choose something by that nice Karen Brady's dad.
