I'm curious- how did you all choose your profile names?

I'm not asking for any personal information, or anything that could uniquely identify you, so please bear this in mind when answering. I'm just curious, and unlike most of my posts, there is not agenda here, hidden or otherwise.

I'll start...the 'SP' are the initials of the street I lived on when I got my first home PC, and 1814 refers to my favourite album at that time (Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814).

Tis the kitty in the picture
I'd tried lots of names (dogs, nicknames etc.) and was getting desperate for one to be accepted. 'Jourdain' is a place near to where I live and there are 2 of us, that's all. I grabbed the acceptance!
o god I thought it was after Louis Jourdain who was the sixties heart throb in 'Run a crooked mile'

( he could also be the lead in Gigi )

First part is what I called myself when ringing my d and s at university so not to embarrass them. Second part another name for grandmother. Two elder grand children put them together. That is what they still call me.
Not saying what two younger gc call me.
Mine is my cat Prudence, sadly now gone, I'm actually posting to see if there;s a problem with the site because I've never seen such big gap on times in latest posts at this time of night.
I wanted to call my new kitten Prudence but the boys said no :-(
When i came on the film was on and i am a little bit sinful!
It's a cool name for a cat I think Ummmm but I can see that boys might not think so.
I got mine from a urinal when you was on a rugby tour in Germany.
Thought that too Prudie... especially CB
I used to be Judge Nutmeg (Which I thought was a good nickname, for all of 5 seconds...), a Bob Mortimer character from Vic Reeves Big Night Out - Vic called him Nutty for short. Now it's just my first name and the initial of my surname
