When I find that on the morning of my fortnightly bin collection some dog walker has, after the bin's been emptied, dropped their horrid poo bag in it.

Two weeks it'll have to sit there.....

Do dog owners have to dispose of it quickly rather than carry it home to their own bin?

Is your bin anything like this? If so, could you get a handyman to construct a giant jack in the box with a taped message that would spring up and shout: 'Take it with you, ya dirty*****r.', at the phantom poo poster? http://www.obal-centrum.com/waste_containers/plast_120lt_menu.jpg

Write a notice and tape it to the bin lid, tilly - "This is not a public dog poo disposal bin"
Aw, at least they bagged it first
At least they dropped it in the bin. I found one hanging off one of the shrubs. Lazy so and so's.
I don't think tilly would do that.
I would personally never drop my dog poo bags in someone else's bin but I can't say I'd break my heart if someone did it to me, it's only a bin for rubbish.
Bleah, sibs...... seriously gness, buy some Bin Buddy, it does help to quash the Poo smell.
If you find out the culprit, make a deposit of your own into a carrier bag and drop it into their bin
Keep a watch on your bin and if you spot who did it take it out and leave it on their front door step.
cover the poo with old newspapers a sq
G.... get a catapult and some sheep droppings, watch for them and fire sheep *** at them... ;0)
Keep a watch out and take a photo next time they do it, then tape a copy to your bin and send it to the local paper, name and shame.... but I do agree, at least they put it in A bin, not leave it lying about.

On a related point - what do you do with tilly's poo? I know people who drop animal poo down the toilet, but it can be a messy business....
what ?????????,,,, cover the poo with old newspapers, and a squirt of bleach and forget about it ,

Where we walk our Dogs we've got some daft Old Duchess who bags her Dogs poos then leaves the newly filled bag exactly where the poo was!!!!!!

Would help if they tied the top before dropping it in to splatter.....and smell... and while it is a rubbish bit and won't break my heart, putting up with that smell is not how I live... it must have been a flaming big dog...or a small one with problems.

It's bleached til I buy something else for the smell....

BB....The folk on our corner were plagued with a smell...till they discovered an old lady was putting her dog's poo in a carrier bag and poking it behind a GPO box that was squashed into their hedge....bags of rotting poo they found....

No...my bin...I clean it....I'm not a great lover of dogs....so no poo...x
If you find out the culprit, make a deposit of your own into a paper bag and drop it in through their letter box.

My grandmother did this with a friend when she was a girl. With a mate, they filled a brown envelope with horse-turd, sealed it and wrapped it in string, leaving it on the pavement, a man picking it up and taking it home, the two girls following to see where he lived.....

Some good ideas...JL...I once posted what I did with regular unbagged poo left outside my house......You'd think I'd eaten a baby....

Boxy....I have nothing whatever to do with Tilly's poo!...☺
G. how near is your bin to your house that you can smell it ?
Question Author
Anne.....the gap between me and next door..though fenced...is narrow....it's where we keep our bins, either side of the fence.
Their back door opens onto the passage way and I have windows beside and above....

Regardless.....I just don't want dog poo in my bin.....if I have visitors with a baby they'd look at me sideways if I took soiled nappies to the home of a dog owner to pop in their bin.....

Our binmen arrive very early....I will hire a child to hide in the emptied bin and scare the wits out of the dog owner who opens it....☻
I spray my bin with jeyes fluid, a good hose down then leave to dry.
in your position. I'd move house until next bin day collection .
