Now we really are delving into fantasy land.
It was a joke, of course, ZM. On the other hand, since the current financial system belongs to all the inhabitants of the UK, by what right may England, Wales and NI suddenly claim it is theirs to share or not as they choose?

In addition, at the Union of the Crowns in 1603 and at the Union of the Parliaments in 1707, there were only two kingdoms involved, Wales being a principality and NI being a province. If Scotland should leave the union, how can the remainder go on being called "the UNITED Kingdom"?
