Just been looking through argos for a toaster. Would you pay£199 for one I certainly wouldn't . Is there any difference in the toast in buying a cheap one compared to one about £40 .
Cupid, some grills are inside the oven and if the oven is already in use, toasting under the grill is not an option.
A toaster is far cheaper to use to toast bread, anyway.
Last time I bought a toaster I went to one of the big electrical shops that have lots of toasters on display.
A took a slice of my usual toast wrapped in cling film to make sure the toaster would not leave the top of the slice untoasted. Funny looks, but I can't be doing with toast with untoasted bits
Daft as it might sound wendi, what do you need it to do?
Size and thickness of bread, two slices or four (I have a four slice one that'll just do two), warm up muffins or bagels on top? And how much toast do you actually eat to justify spend?
Need one that does 4 but also to do just 2 on its own same as the one I have that 2 slots have given up . Only need to use the 4 when family here . Not very good feed back on some of them but morphy Richards not too bad and does thick well.
I bought a Cookworks about £4, useless, keeps sparking after onoy acouple of months, same with Cookworks electric chrome kettle, went rusty after 6 months (on the outide by the spout) can't take them back as I live abroad. I'm still looking for an inexpensive but good one.
