I rather think you are correct.
why would ABers make any new comment on a 3 year old news item?

I suspect had it been in East Anglia it would have been more prominent as well!
;-)
You might be right, keyplus, but you are being a bit inflammatory in posting it, especially if it's an old piece of news.
Can we get them banned here too. Especially by barmaids and shop assistants.
Why,did the story make the pages of the Daily Mail?
"but you are being a bit inflammatory in"

1...Its not inflammatory
2... I really couldnt care less what they do out there

From the ^^^^^ Link provided.

The Guardian, Wednesday 24 November 2010 11.22 GMT///
Baz, only inflammatory in that KP is expecting some "how disgusting, typical!" replies, IMO - and tbh - nor do I, it's their business.
It is, actually.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, KP. We'd probably never discover what the elders of a village in northern India were up to, three years ago, without your efforts. Do you have any updates?

Just in. Take That have had the biggest selling album of the year,Progress
thankyou, pixie.
well, it wasn't big news on AB three years ago either, so I rather suspect keyplus is correct.
Hardly breaking news.

This story is over 3 years old.

Best ignored, then.

/// well, it wasn't big news on AB three years ago either, so I rather suspect keyplus is correct. ///

Are the happenings in a small Indian village 'big News' anyway?
It may not have been 'An Islamic country' but:

/// The ban has been put in place by Sunderbari council which is in a Muslim-dominated area in the north east of India. ///

Usual suspects yet again.

Thought I would be first with the latest news it apparently seems to be catching on.

Oh well - it's up to them, if they think it'll make a difference.
It's not all bad. We can use these stories to show how primitive Muslims here can be, can't we? (AOG, what did you mean to convey by your phrase 'usual suspects' ?)
