This woman stabbed her own daughter for goodness sake, is Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights – the right to a private and family life being excessively abused in this case?

/// But the family courts gave her the right to see her daughter under tight supervision for an hour three times a year – and she has now won the right to stay in Britain permanently.///

"One hour three times a year under tight supervision, and her right to stay in Britain permanently", apart from the ludicrousness of all this, I wonder how much this exercise will be costing the law-abiding British taxpayer?

/// A judge ruled it would be ‘very cruel’ to stop her from seeing the
child. ///

How cruel was it to stab her own defenceless child?

/// She won her case using Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights – the right to a private and family life. ///

What family life can be gained from her seeing her daughter for an hour three times a year?

As often when I read stuff like this, I'm speechless !!!
The usual cr*p from Europe. I'm sure the Europeans do it to us to annoy us, wonder how many such rulings are made against Germany and France (and in the Frenchies case if there are any how many they complied with!)

3 x 1 hour per year is hardly Family Life is it?
The Mail can't even get the caption for the photo right - they show the Royal Court of Justice and caption it as the 'Old Bailey'.....

I wondered how long it would be, absolutely shocking, never mind this evil woman's crime, let's first get the captions correct shall we?
The point I was implying AOG is that you are foolish to base your inflammatory 'questions' on an article in a newspaper which is incapable of such a fundamental exercise as getting a caption right.
Kick her out - and perhaps prevent appeals being decided by the Courts. If the Home Office say out then that should be it. Do we really need these hand-wringing Judges second-guessing what is the right of Government - to decide which aliens are permitted to reside in the country they govern. I say no.
This case is being appealed to the Court of Appeal. Let's see what they make of it. The first instance decision seems pretty weak.
Why aren't babies and children allowed human rights?
