Ice Bears

I know this has been shown before in past years, but it's still worth seeing.

When the team scores the first goal of the ice hockey season, the crowd throw teddies onto the ice, and then they are all given to children's charities, and children's homes, etc.

I bet the origins of that one are "lost in the mists of time".

Slightly alarming to hear there are 26,000 children in need in Calgary (or all Alberta or wherever). I suppose the white teddy bears go to Inuit.

I have a teddy from birth, priceless.....
I also have some from different times through my life which were fun pressies ,that's all they were but I can't let them go.

Never under estimate the power of a teddy bear , one of the best vids ever, lots of happy kids who will have memories and something to snuggle into. Great job !!
