The beauty of the system is that the judge/ magistrate is polite and respectful so that we don't have to be.
Unlike the accused, the judge is clearly civilised.
Oh dear we are in another innocent until proven guilty thread.


Yeah Fred I see on re-reading the post: it's not a judge and not a murder Trial (and the proceedings didnt take place in Woolwich) but other than that, we can only take issue at chivalrous or pragmatic.

I keep on having to learn from lawyers to read what is written
