At last a sentence to fit the crime, he will be 75 years old before he is released.

Yesterday Tia's father said that, whatever jail sentence this monster received, he should be hanged at the end of it.

Does anyone agree?

no.
hopefully he will die in prison, i have absolutely no sympathy for this man
No, although I have absolutely no sympathy for him.
I can understand what motivates his thinking- but no, I do not agree.
I hope he doesn't last that long, will cost the taxpayers a lot of money.
No, he shouldn't be hanged.

He will be 75 when he's 'considered' for parole. There is a chance he won't ever get out.
I never agree with State murder. It is vengence not justice. We should always be above that. But I understand the emotion to the victim's familiy causing some to crave it though.
No, but I have every sympathy with the father's feelings.

no
Give him a few years in prison among the other inmates and let them sort him out. Hopefully he will die the day before he is ever released.
No - why to satisfy your bloodlust?

Why stop there - why not have him burnt at the stake or tortured to death.

Surely no punishment is too extreme for you?

Given Huntley got 40 years for the Soham murders 38 years sounds proportionate
No, because one murder is not in any way recinded by another.

State execution is barbaric - and I believe that this man should not receive any opportunity to avoid reflecting on the terrible thing he has done.

As far as 'wasting tax payers' money' - punishment is a viable charge to tax payers - perhaps more than weapons for 'defence', although that is an entirely different debate.

One can understand why I get annoyed with some on this site, they will even resort to accusing one of saying things that one has not said.

In this case I simply reported what the father said, and asked if anyone agreed with what he said, without making any personal comments of my own.

Will some now challenge JTP, for creating ill feelings when there was no need to do so, perhaps the AB Editor has a comment to make?
I take your point AOG - I think ths suggestion of 'blodd lust's is inappropriuate, and hopefully JTP will reflect, and offer an apology.

As I posted, I do not condone capital punishment, but if it was one of my daughters, I would find that viewpoint very hard to maintain.
perhaps you should give your opinions when asking for others?
Yes, I agree.
I agree one hundred percent. They should be made to suffer first, knowing at the end of their sentence they will die.
Why at least 38 years before being considered for parole ?, Why not a sentence for life, meaning life with no parole.
No doubt he will 'find God' like most of these monsters and earn browny points which will earn him early parole.

After reading they found a sex toy with Tia's blood on it, I would hang the fcuker.
