How on earth do these people manage to swindle our country and it's taxpayers over and over again?

If any ABer was dishonest enough to try and do the same, would they even know how to go about it?

Yet we have these foreigners (and I use this word because they are not black, white, Asian, British, or European citizens) before anyone starts with the racist business, who come here illegally set up their scams and then sit back and reap in thousands, to enable them to live a comfortable lifestyle, with some left over to send home.

I'm sure there are people who were born in the UK perpetrating the same types of benefit fraud.
People born in the UK are certainly not above a bit of fraud.

She was 'holding down two jobs'

Well that certainly scuppers the old 'immigrants are lazy scroungers' argument
Are you colour blind AOG ? The picture in your post looks pretty black to me.... unless the Daily Mail has doctored it. Wouldn't put it past them though.
no doubt a bogus asylum claim a sham marriage, but what are the chances of this garbage being sent back....virtually zero

"I'm sure there are people who were born in the UK perpetrating the same types of benefit fraud."

even more reason why we dont need scum like her over here
Well, she's foreign, she's black, she's married someone British to defeat immigration law, she's done the taxpayers, she's a story in the Daily Mail. Seems a natural progression to me ! If only she hadn't been holding down two jobs, it would be perfect.
"she's married someone British"

another asylum seeker whos probably gained citizenship fraudulently
How does someone get a job with a bogus NI number???
So, an 'asylum seeker', here at least nine years, a persistent offender, is now being accommodated at taxpayers' expense?

Says it all, really.

Now how did I know that there would be some amongst us who are so intelligent that they will tell us something that 'ALL' of us are well aware of?

Of course we have our own born & bred cheats, scroungers and criminals, but that doesn't mean that we should add to them by not showing concern that we are importing more and more, to add to them.
She should get a one way ticket on the next flight to Sierra Leone when she's done her time

Don't care if she has the right to stay here cos she married a British citizen, he was probably in on the scam as well so he can fcuk off over there too

/// How does someone get a job with a bogus NI number??? ///

Apparently this was discussed on the Radio this morning on a debate about our Civil Service, and it was said that apparently they did not hold a data-bank on NI numbers.

I find this very hard to believe, but if true it is frightening.

The word 'LAZY' matters not, so it can easily be removed from the 'old argument'.
AOG

That's madness! The whole point of the NI number is that workers have one for their entire lives which is linked to contributions to national insurance.

Does anyone know how she was caught? I admit, I only skim read the article.

No I am not colour blind, and I am quite aware she is black, but I notice you have not been on the news section of AnswerBank for very long, but if you had you would not have failed to notice that one has to be so careful when using such words as 'Foreigners' that one is not automatically classed as a racist, especially when persons who are not white are concerned.
I've just re-read the original post and AOG has asked something that we should all consider, but has been lost in the 'hurricane of indignation' ;-)

He asked: "If any ABer was dishonest enough to try and do the same, would they even know how to go about it?"

Would any of us REALLY know how to scam the benefits system?

I've worked without a break for 30 years this year, and have never signed on - and I honestly wouldn't know how to perform a scam a) out of ignorance and b) out of fear of being caught and going to jail.

Hmmm...ignorance and fear are stopping me, but not morals.

Says a lot.

Thank you for addressing my original point.

Is the information how to go about it, passed down 'mouth to mouth'?

Or are there night classes that they can go along to in their own countries, so has to learn these skills, before setting off for the UK, on their big and most prosperous adventure?
aog,

The answer to your first question is simple: They manage it simply because they are helped by our own UK Border Force so easily admitting them in the first place.

I said some time ago that these asylum seekers ought to be all dealt with in the same way as the Australians tackle the problem, i.e. gather them all together, find an island to accommodate them, and where they should be properly supervised while their applications are processed.

But no, here in good old Blighty we just let them in, no checks done whatever, to disappear up their own windpipes, and then we wonder where they've gone when they're meant to turn up for their hearing. In the meantime they've somehow been allowed every handout of taxpayers' cash going without any trouble at all. Then the authorities wonder why they have this problem???

Duh!!!!!
AOG

Bet it's on the Internet.

In fact...let me have a look.
