Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
More seriously I believe you have to take all of them with a pinch of salt. Like advertising they are all selling something, so say no more. Over here (in France) there are those I follow and those I watch just to see what they are going to spout this time round (and we have had plenty recently due to the referendum  - European Constitution - last week. Who would I trust? Quite frankly I don't think there is one name today I would go all out on.
George Bush. You can predict what he'll do in most situations; and when he says he'll do something he mostly tries to do it. (Unfortunately, it's not always what I want done.) Tony Blair on the other hand is unpredictable; he hops on passing bandwagons, he reneges on pledges, he fiddles figures; very hard to trust.

A tie between Bernardo and Norman Baker (Lib Dem, Lewes).

George Bush may be predictable (although I have my doubts) but I wouldn't trust him.

I never trust a liar.  ALL politicians are liars, therefore I trust none of them!
I don't think I could trust any politician either.  They let their egos get in the way of what they should be doing.

Alex Salmond.

None of them. The words trustworthy politician are surely an oxymoron.

Maybe my own M.P.; who has a record of voting with his conscience even if it gets into trouble with the party hierarchy. I don't always agree with him but he does seem to be trustworthy
Don't really trust politicians, having never voted in any form of election.  I do however admire to a certain extent John Howard, the Australian Prime Minister.  A typical Aussie who loves his country and tells it like it is, no matter the situation.
mo mowlem.  Tony benn.
Me
When he was alive Mahatma Gandhi. he fought for Indian independence and after attaining it turned down the highest job on offer as PM. Besides he was a right pain in the back side for the British and Indian populace alike, but there was very little they could do to a bloke who constantly went on hunger strikes.
Peter Mandelson. Honest as the day is long.
Jeffrey Archer he honest as day is shorts.
Boris Johnson
Claire Short is about the only one in the UK government who is honest (so much so she disappeared during the election campaign). Looking forward to seeing her on Question Time next week though.

The politician that most impresses me is senator george mitchell, but there are many others in all political parties at home here that i have no qualms in trusting, like ann clwyd, or sir george young for instance... being a politician is a no win occupation like a tax inspector or a traffic warden no one likes them but without them results chaos, put it this way i'd trust some politicians any day over most journalists.

I don't expect anybody to agree with me mind..its not the done thing to speak up for some politicians

Tony Benn.
