This is such a heart breaking story which happened at a junction we know well in Leicester. Two Polish Dads taking their toddlers out for a walk .... and this happens ......... the scene is too awful to imagine. Rest in peace little ones.

That is terrible, I feel for the families. May the children rest in peace.
Given the impact damage on the cars it may be that the Mini pulled out in front of the BMW causing it to veer left.
Terrible Ann. I often think that those of us who make it to whatever age we do, do so by luck! We miss all those kinds of accidents, diseases etc. Unfortunately, these two kids didn't.

I knew a man once at a day centre I used to do voluntary work for. He had a good job, a lovely house, a great future, a wife and three children - the eldest was 5. One day the police arrived at his work place to tell him that his wife and children had all been killed when a lorry hit their car at a junction near our town. Several years later he still hadn't recovered and that's when I knew him. He could still only cope with going to the day centre several times a week and still needed help to get through every day.

We must all count our blessings I think!
During the last decade 8,242 pedestrians have been killed on UK roads. That is the equivalent of four 9/11s.
Sadly, tragedies such as this are being played out somewhere everyday.
So sad, the news on my phone is about the two little ones, the lady being stabbed in a taxi and the burnt body found under a car in a supermarket car park (plus that older lady who was tortured) - pretty crappy day.
Sher, I agree, a bad day in the news.
Almost gets to the point where you hardly dare look at the news. Poor little things though.
Oh poor sweet darlings. Night God bless ♥

Yes Andy I agree, it really does make you stop and think and be thankful for our friends and families, and truly count our blessings. I can't stop thinking of those poor families tonight, God bless and comfort them.

Absolutely horrific. And for the poor fathers to witness it is unimaginable.
