Now there's a surprise, whatever will 'Posh' say?

Never mind I do believe the Spice Girls are making a come-back.

I bet you are a Spice Girls fan and are just afraid to admit it. :-)
I don't think the Spice Girls are making a come back. Jennifer Saunders has written a musical about them.
I really like DB but he's too old If he'd been a scot or a welshman they might have squeezed him in But Giggsy and Bellers deserve one chance on a bigger stage
it's not even about them - just uses their songs a la "mamma mia"
Its going to be a musical about the rise & fall of 'The Spice Girls'

So I expect Posh will keep a crust on the table. David can sign on the dole.

jem
Giggs? Are they all away matches then?
naughty....
I hardly think VB needs the income...............but I feel sorry for Becks, although the decision was a correct one.
I don't know anything about football but DB is okay - and his missus seems okay too. He is bound to know that he is getting too old to play football at a high level. He should stick to modelling underwear.
I had expected him to be picked for the side, as much for the prominence he had in the Olympic bid and his popularity, as for any remnants of footballing ability.

While I'm here, can we have a bit less of the "Team GB" nonsense and more of "Team UK" please; there are four countries represented under the flag.

Mental note; today's nit-picking now complete.
If he wanted to play for England again, he shouldn't have decamped to the USA. He is long past his best anyway.
He is, but with up to 90% of seats unsold at some venues I thought his populism might get him in.
................and he wouldn't be playing for England, he would be playing for Team UK. :-)
"If he wanted to play for England again, he shouldn't have decamped to the USA"

What?? if England refused to field any players that play for a foreign team we'd end up with a crap team..... oh wait!
LOL.

You should try supporting Norn Iron?
Is he still trying for his knighthood? He certainly won't get it for his football!
I'd've liked to have seen him play - other than the football, I find the Olympics a huge boreathon, and like him or loathe him, he is still a great footballer, was a great servant for England and (for a second rate competition such as this where you don't need the top top players - even he would admit he is not as great as he once was) could have served a valuable role.

Great shame.
I find the Olympics a huge boreathon

Wait till they start:=)
Apologies. Of course I should have said TeamGB not England.
He should stick to modelling underwear.

Try not to drool as you say that, wolf.
