Croatian FA fined €20,000 for the racist abuse aimed at Balotelli by their fans and Nick Bendtner fined €100,000 for wearing Paddy Power underpants. Good to see Platini's UEFA have got their priorities right and they are coming down heavy on the more serious issues.

They've got some Y-front!
That sounds about right from UEFA, at least its' Not FIFA, then everyone would be screwed even the Paddy's.
Bendtner's been showing the premier league he's pants for years
I am not condoning the various fines, but Bendtner deliberately pulled down his shorts to show his "sponsored" underpants after he scored a goal.

This betting sponsor company were also NOT the one favored by his host nation who had a deal with another betting company.

I dont like all this sponsorship nonsense but if it is not clamped down on by heavy fines then we will find ourselves with players flashing adverts all the time.

This could include say a tattoo on a players arm naming a sponsor or getting their hair shaved with the sponsors name.

p.s. You can bet Bendtner probably got £100,000 off the sponsor for flashing his underpants.
to quote another site, Balotelli faces racist abuse, Uefa fines Porto £16,700.

Bendtner shows wrong underpants, Uefa fines him £80,000.

Unusual priorities.
