Aiming for the most boring thread in history but actually interested in who if any are the fountain pen users here...
I know we use keyboards to go on AB so no daft comments
but in the real world... Just checked my handbag I had four 2 of which I use regularly and I have a bit of a thing for coloured inks sepia and purple are favourites
My 1910 A. A. Waterman twist-filler in black and gold is never far away from my desk. I, too, use only black ink... preferably Herbin's Perle Noire (Let's see if the italics function is working).
I have fountain pens coming out of my ears - all Parkers and mainly Duofolds, from early to modern.
Many are 'collectors' but I have several 'users' including the one that used all through school.
I mainly use classic Parker ballpoints for day-to-day use, crosswords etc.
strange so many pens are given as gifts when so few seem to use them I'm hoping if there is an upsurge in usage some of the accessories will be easier to find in the stationers again...
I get that job too Craft... then its where did I put the ones with the italic nibs... I used to like using a dipping pen and metallic drawing inks but haven't had the kit for a while
I love fountain pens, I have around 6 I think, 2 cheapies which get used regulary and three others of various values which don't get used much. I also have a very expensive Montegrappa fountain pen my Granmother bought me for my 21st
