The author of Where the Wild Things Are'

that book helped shape my future.

As a child I loved it so much, i absolutely loved the artwork, and still to this day cannot put into words why... but it inspired me to draw and paint and imagine other worlds

There are only a few other childrens books I could truly say that about

RIP

No you didn't DT. You said 'good' which reads like you think it's good he's dead. Stop playing the innocent.

Nope Zhukov.
who are you talking about, Zhukov.....?
Well having a fight in a tribute thread says enough don't you think?
Personally, I thought it was the most beautifully illustrated book I had ever seen. I can still see Max in his jimjams.

seeing I am a Northerner by heritage, Z, I take that as a slur. Nothing unexpected from you though and I shall ignore too.

Yes, Mojo, agree with you from an illustration perspective, something that I aspire to, but no good when it comes to kids books as there is such a simplicity in the works.
For goodness sake stop it you two.
Am sorry that a talented author who understood a child's imagination has died. I always enjoyed sharing them with my grandchildren.
one of my favs, Mojo and joko.

sorry if I was misconstrued.

Question Author
DT...if someone told you their mother had died would you answer 'good'?

and then backpedal saying 'no, no i meant SHE was good! honest!'?

if so, i'd advise you not to because you would likely get a smack in the mouth.

what a rotten pair you are. no need.
-- answer removed --

but out of context.......
Read your first answer DT ...
I have and hence mea culpable....yes I should have added a couple of more words or an image.
