It's looking like a miserable Monday. St Georges day too! The sky is not too cloudy at the moment but we are promised all manner of horrors. no change there then!
Have a happy day everyone. :o}

Morning English rose. xxx :o} Yes, it's the same here, but Carol is on the idiot box telling us it's on it's way. she looks gorgeous in royal blue! :o}
Well none can deny we need it so I say bring it on. Hope the car is getting better each day, wbm. You sure could do with it back, my dear.
Morning WBM and ttfn :) x
Question Author
I could indeed! I will find out today when I'm likely to get it back. Today I hope!
Morning to you, ummmm xx
Question Author
Morning ummmm xxx Are you well? :o}
I hope it does come home today, wbm - it is a terrible feeling to lose the sense of mobility and freedom of choice. We get used to it all so quickly, at a price. Think of the petrol/deisel you have saved yourself and look at the bill as an investment.
I'm very well WBM :-) x

I see Ed has changed the piccy to George and the dragon. I think that's a first.

Happy St Georges day to anyone who celebrates.
Morning Boaty, ttfn and ummmm. Clear here at the moment ubless you're about to climb Snowdon, in which case be well prepared - summit shrouded in cloud. Looked magnificent as I drove past it yesterday!
Sssshhh, ummmm. Ed did that end of last week, bless him.

I always celebrate it. I am orf to do just that now - there is some ironing calling me.

Have a safe day both and all who worship at the screen of wbm ;) xxx
...and to all Englishmen - Happy St Georges's Day. Oh to be in England...............

That's the only way to look at it TTFN. The man doing the job is a friend of ours, his mum went to school with Vera. He was a RAF vehicle mechanic. He left the RAF about 15 years ago and set up on his own, he now has about 7 or 8 people working for him. We are one of his first customers. The engine will be almost completely rebuilt when I get it back.
I'm just grateful it never let me down last year when I was going back and forth to two hospitals and the oncology unit in Cheltenham, sometimes at high speed, for Vera.
Sorry, welshy, morning to you. If I had a pound for every time I have seen Snowdon shrouded in cloud I would be retired already, lol.

Morning Welshie. :o}

Have a happy day TTFN. Ironing! you know how to have a good time don't you! :o}
I know that feeling, wbm. But, on the other hand, it didn't let you down when you needed it most. Enjoy it when you get it back and keep out of the puddles xxx
Boaty, i must admit I take my company car for granted - anything goes wrong it goes into a garage and gets fixed, and while it's in I get a courtesy car. Living out in a country village with very little public transport, I would be lost without it.
Question Author
I'll enjoy it right enough. Coughing up a grand will sting a bit though! :o{
Me too, ttfn, me too
