thats good...and i am a muslim saying that...i dont agree with what they do...i respect our troops, my grandfather fought in ww2.
What has our resident EDL member got to say about this then?
Good.

Which Crusades are they protesting about anyway? - they're a bit late.
Got to remember that many a Muslim fought in World War 1 and 2 as well.....
yes...but lots of people seem to forget that lol
however this does not represent muslims as a whole...as many people believe we are all like that, we are not.
They will simply reform under a different name and so it will go on ad infinitum- you can't keep nutcases like that quiet for long, however nice to see some sensible moderate Muslims also getting the press they deserve.

'Julie Siddiqui of the Islamic Society of Britain had been organising a counter-demonstration for Friday.
She said: "In one sweep, Muslims Against Crusades display an unspeakable disregard for the feelings and common bond of our countrymen and women, a contempt and rejection of our hard-earned democracy and its institutions, a disdain for the majority of British Muslims - who do not share their views - and a violation of the example of the Prophet Muhammad."
Next we will have the Prime Minister of the UK apologising for the actions of Richard I and his band of merry Muslim-slaying fascists.
Exactly sith and NOX - I've said it before, but the moderate Muslims of my acquaintance want nothing to do with these extremist factions.
i agree

I respect anyone who has served this country in uniform and in any conflicts, regardless of religion, colour or creed.

I don't respect those who want Sharia law brought to this country, use Remembrance Sunday as a vehicle to spout their vile diatribe and burn poppies, who hate the way of life in this country yet abuse democracy and use it to further their disgusting views.
I read the title of this question as 'This country has grown a pair of Muslims'. Time for a cup of tea, I think. :o)
naomi, don't think growing a pair of Muslims was quite what AOG meant, but i am glad that they have been banned. Perhaps they will pop up elsewhere, but at least the authorities are onto them.
not AOG, i must get some new glasses, apologies all round, it's just we are so used to it being him that brings us these tasty tales.
boxtops, you may remember Bush Jr calling for a crusade. (This is not a joke answer.)

So the country's finally grown a pair... and banned the organisation... for the eighth time. The authorities must definitely be on to them!
Woof woof, the Pavlovian effect of AOG....
Yes jno, I had forgotten that unfortunate quotation....

I'm being confused with AOG? Damn, I knew those Union Jack boxer shorts would get me into trouble.....!
sorry Phil, just so used to seeing his comments on stories like this, where
is he anyways.
