I would not know. That does seem a lot to me but then again everything does to me. Can any kind person here tell us the cheapest heating oil in the country? Could you not use chip fat for fuel here?

I did try chip fat for a while, but the neighbours complained. They said the entire street was stinking like a rancid chip shop.

The old gas supply here in NI was closed down, coincidentally just before electricity was privatised.
A new gas company, Phoenix, has since started up. But the house had oil when I moved into it and I don't think gas is any cheaper.
