What will be the outcome to all this?

Why are these activists causing so much trouble?

Speaking up for her own county folk, no doubt?

Not altogether sure What The Funicular it has to do with her, other than getting her ubiquitous fizzog on tv again!
Because that's what "activists", do in the absence of anything useful.
Why do they call them "travellers"? they never go anywhere

There must be hundreds of TV reporters there - many of whom may have arrived by taxi - hopefully they'll be neutral though :-)
"'We'll only leave in body bags': "

Am I wrong in thinking 'if only'? And if so, im not on my own- right?
Just seen it on the TV, I suspect we're going to see scenes reminiscent of "the battle of the bean field" back in the eighties.

She happens to be a 'Presenter' not a 'Reporter'.
"I suspect we're going to see scenes reminiscent of "the battle of the bean field" back in the eighties. "

I doubt that. The police have largely learned their lesson from that incident.

Lets hope so anyway.
"She happens to be a 'Presenter' not a 'Reporter'.

Well, she's "present" isn't she? lol

As are lots of people by the look of it. Nice to see she's considered imprtant enough to get a special mention :-)
As far as I am concerned the people occupying the illegal field are no better than the recent rioters and looters.

It is all part of a creeping attitude that you can break the law and it is your right to do it.

If I want to extend my house I have to apply to the council and get permission, get the council come in to check the work is processing ok and so on.

These people think they can do what they like, build what they like, where they like, and it is nobodys else's concern.

I see one of the signs on the side of the caravan says "cancer patient". I wonder how much the family of this person have ever paid IN to the NHS as I assume the person is now getting expensive cancer treatment.

People like this are all TAKE TAKE TAKE without contributing anything.
Wait untill the have all chained themselves up and then Tazer them all one at a time and cart them away.

boo, re your post ^^^ are you joking about them leaving in body bags ?
This is very entertaining I must say.
Live TV and informed debate at its best :-)
They are human beings.
possibly, maybe.

But I AM sick of this pandering to them that appears to be happening, my real thoughts very much echo VHG's comments.

Why didn't you ask if Snags post was serious by the way?
I say evict them and confiscate all their belongings to help cover the cost of the eviction!

Why should the locals have to put up with them talking the p!ss by flouting every planning law amongst many other things.
