Top tips for dealing with a Heatwave!

The media are warning of a heatwave. ( I think it might happen between 2pm and 4pm today so be sure not to miss it.)

But how did we ever manage before they offered us advice on how to deal with a warm day? Its just the same in the winter - "Don't go out unless you really need to and if you're elderly, ask a neighbour for help"

I need to put my bins out later, do you think its safe?

Well my top tip for dealing with heatwaves, is to make sure you've got plenty of cornettos and ice lollies!!!!
lots of ice cream and cool drinks, hopefully we can all make it through the 2 hours safely ;)

Yes, and a couple of extra tubs of your favourite Haagen Dazs Funny girl, just in case your car overheats on the way to the shops!

I managed fine in 1976 and that lasted weeks
Sunglasses really help, especially when indoors, if you wear expensive ones, remember to leave them at home or they may get lost!
It is cold and miserable here - dreich. Might be a duvet afternoon with the moggies.

Good tip Ratter, best not to wear them to put the bins out - I might throw them away by mistake. And the sun hat - that might fall off too.

Perhaps I should I ring the council and see if they can swap my collection date this week. Better to be safe than sorry.
