I feel I must have a little whine, before drinking a 'few' glasses of red wine.

It seems to be that there is a movement afoot to have me sitting at home of an evening with just a small glass of plonk and perhaps consume it by dipping a baby's dummy; instead of enjoying my cigarettes whilst quaffing wine.

after just looking, the V is next to the B, so im guessing it was a case of fat finger syndrome, sorry.
if some young person can explain how i can paste, put it or somehow add a photo to this thread, its not on youtube, then i'd be obliged, if its not possible ok. But its a good picture.
I think you can only provide a link.
it's not possible, em, but you can put it on a picture hosting site like tinypic and then print the link.

Excellent research there, Quizmonster. Prosit!
ah see, B00, us oldies with our brittle wee fingers don't get fat finger syndrome. About the only part of the body that doesn't, mind.

ewww, they look so gruesome, they're ace!
I'm a little to young to be commenting on this thread buti,ve been drinking..for over forty years and for the last thirty five i've been drinking over 50 units a weektwenty years ago i'd drink 50 units over the weekend..apart from high blood pressure theres nothing wrong with me..my blood tests are all fine and i recently had a heart check up and thats all fine.. and i've never had a stay in hospital in my life..so this reports a lot of rubbish in my eyes

B00....Are you still off the cigarettes? Or am I thinking of someone else.

I am trying to find a reason for your comments.:-) lol

lol yes, still not smoking, nearly 6 months now.

It's been easy...

!!!!!!!!!!!!
6 months - that's terrific. Keep it up!
Well done Boo. Husband's given up for a week now. I wish he would start again as it makes him a right misog.
Yeah, it does make you cranky, or in my case crankier. To be honest, most people reckon they can't tell the difference with me anyway, i'm always a miserable boot anyway.

Apologies Ron xx

Giving up smoking is really very easy. I know , because like Mark Twain, I have done it dozens of times.

a few years ago I had a major heart scare.... went down for an emergency angiogram (where they put the dye through the blood vessels in the heart) expecting angioplasty at least bypass at worst heard someone behind me say 'her arteries are perfect' to which the consultant said they can't be... when he came to see me later he said what ever you are doing keep it up... so red wine, chocolate and garlic it is....
Question Author
Eating chocolates at the same time you are drinking red wine, I hope so. Viv and I find it a great combination and when we told some young relatives, their response was "Are you serious, because we have been ashamed to admit to anyone that that is what we enjoy"
